Traveling for a death in the family, upon our arrival, which was a little bit past the 3:00PM check in we were informed they were short staffed in housekeeping and a room wasn't yet available and if we were OK with a handicap room, I had no problem because I am disabled . No biggie, we went out for dinner. The problem was we didn't receive a phone call until after 6PM, 3 hours past the time that you could check in and our room was a standard room, clearly not to aid in handicapped people . Had there been a viewing service that evening, it would of been an major issue because we had to put our belongings in another family members room. We looked past that. The room itself was decent. The beds were comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. However, the temperature control in the room was frustrating. The heat ran constantly at 74°, and when I turned it down to 72°, the fan kicked on and made the room uncomfortably cold - there didn’t seem to be a comfortable middle ground. Breakfast was fine, nothing exceptional. My biggest issue was the pool. At check-in, we were informed that the pool heater was not working but were assured the water was “room temperature.” Unfortunately, the room temperature was 55°, and not usable and definitely misleading.

Positive: Very quiet..decent breakfast. Had fresh baked cookies and coffee available at all times. Negative: Had a couple of bugs in the room. It happens.

Wife and I wanted to get away from the kids for a night and wanted a hotel with a pool and hot tub. Wasn't told when we checked in that the indoor pool heater was broken and the water temperature was in the 50's so cold not use it. This should be something front desk should be making people aware of. Hot tub was hot atleast but a crappy design. The jets sat so low down by the seats they only hit your rear and not your back. Would not stay here again because of these amenities.

We stayed here twice in one trip. The rooms were clean, it was quiet, and the staff were really kind. The breakfast was nice as well! The price was a little higher than others nearby but it felt worth it. We didn't use the pool or any other amenities but it was nice to have that option. There is a bowling alley a couple minutes down the road that made for a nice, family activity without going far. Would recommend staying here!
