Candlewood Suites St. Clairsville-Wheeling Area by IHG

Nice and clean. Stayed in December. Took family to area to see the lights and shop. Hotel in a good location. Close to shops, food and the interstate. Double queen room was clean, no issues.

This hotel is surrounded by a great area and everything basically in walking distances, the mall is right across the street and they have a outdoor pool for great summer memories, would definitely recommend staying here

Book this hotel then realized it was the right city but wrong state. I canceled it within two minutes and they still charged me. I called to explain it, and she stated that it was a no cancellation room. Candlewood will not see any more of my money

It's our last stop before our 4 hour drive home. Cleanest hotel we stayed at during our week long trip. We stayed at 2 airbnbs, and 1 other hotel. This was the cleanest!. The woman at the front counter this morning was super nice too.

We were greeted when we arrived and the staff genuinely seemed happy to see us. They fawned over our two dogs and were very social with us. The hotel manager even went out of his way to make sure our dogs received treats, with our permission of course. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. When we asked any questions we were always answered with a smile and friendly tone. If there was anything I didn't find positive it may be that the designated dog area was right along a main road, but any owner with their pet on a leash should be able to make sure the dog stays safely away from any issues with that. Overall I really enjoyed the stay and if we return to the area we will have this at the top of our list of locations to stay.
