Wingate by Wyndham Owensboro

This hotel does not live up to the Wingate hotels I have stayed in previously. It looks like a poor remodel of a run down hotel owned by another company. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was filthy and squeaked. The sprinkler system was not mounted correctly in the drywall. There was no TV remote in our room. When we did get a remote, the TV wouldn't work. The elevator would only go up from the bottom floor. If you wanted to go down from the upper floors, you had to call the front desk and hope someone answered so they could press the button at the ground floor entrance to the elevator. There was a telephone set up outside of the elevator to call the front desk. The phone was connected to a wire that was laying on the floor down the hallway. Lights were not working in the pool

My stay was amazing!!! Everything was clean and the service was top notch! Was very happy and will stay there again!!

This is such a better experience than the old hotel that was here. the lobby is nicely done and smells wonderful. I met the owner and he and his family are very nice folks and would give them my business every time. although the renovations are not quite finished it looks great with what has been completed. one would have to have seen the old hotel to appreciate the differences. I stayed in the unfinished portion of the hotel but was satisfied with my room as it had everything i needed. The new king sized bed was so comfy. housekeeping was awesome and catered to all my needs even making my bed and cleaning my room. When i checked in the front desk lady was so cheery that it made me smile. the indoor pool is a nice amenity and indoors to boot. you really don't see indoor pools much. Great j

The rooms were very clean, available on walk in, breakfast was GREAT! Lots of towels and the showers were great! The staff is amazing, the management and everyone have the best hospitality. very nice clean place. got to say the rates are very reasonable to, not a better place then this.!!!!!!

This hotel is a disaster waiting to happen. Supposedly newly renovated and still rooms are trash. The man running the place was rude. Multiple outlets in the pool area that are not gfci. Plugged heaters in pool area. We were just trying to give a 12 year old a birthday party with 3 friends and it was a disaster. The whole experience was just terrible. DO NOT STAY HERE!
