Best Western Plus Owensboro

Great size room. Clean and kept just noticed a stain with blood on the sheet. Other than that it was meticulously cleaned. The shower curtain rod was crooked and would stay shut and water ran all over the floor rm 101. Quiet place. I would stay here again.

This place was super clean! This is the most important thing to me because I have been in the cleaning industry for over 30 years & have seen it all. I always cringe when I need to stay in a hotel. I travel with the large size Lysol. No need for Lysol here. I do believe this is new or newly remodeled so I'm not sure what it will be like in a few years. The breakfast was well laid out & they have a yogurt machine with toppings available.

Positive: The staff here are wonderful. I have stayed here a few times and everything has been consistently great. Breakfast here was also very good. Negative: nope.

We needed to cancel our reservation due to me falling in the shower and cracking my cranium along with my hip and my husband called to try and first reschedule it but they wouldn't do that so he tried to just then cancel it all together! Now mind you this hotel is in Owensboro KY and we live in Memphis TN and they WOULD NOT let us cancel or reschedule it for nothing!! So with my husband halfway between Memphis and Owensboro had to turn around come back to Memphis pick me up from the hospital make me a pallet in the back of his work van because I couldn't sit up in the seat and drive all the way back to Owensboro KY to stay in this room for a whopping $92.00.... now I don't know about anyone else but I don't have $92 bucks to just give away!! We come here every year to bike on the Greenbelt trail (30 miles). Perfect weather this time. |There's also a lot to see downtown, Panther park and Reeds Orchard. |Good choices in restaurants.
