Wingate by Wyndham Kings Bay Naval Base / I-95

Positive: Beds are comfortable, pool area was nice and the location was good for us. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful! Negative: Our shower did not drain so my husband was standing in water during his shower. I did not take one because of that.

As a recent guest our bathtub had holes in it, stained black and yellow towels, a filthy coffee pot, no cups, one tiny bar of soap in the entire room, and a moldy musty smell. Breakfast didn't have hardly any food out. No napkins or forks available. Hotel and Priceline both refuse to offer compensation for the lousy stay.

At check in there was an issue due to front desk associate said that the room I booked was sold out. I was not going to accept that and AGM, Annette quickly stepped in and resolved the issue. I also want to commend Front Desk Associate, Mya for her great customer service towards me and my guest. She was very eager to help and with a smile. The room was very clean which was a bonus which made our stay comfortable. However, I want to mention the fake, robo cop inspector gadget that was obviously trying to see if any rules were being broken was not appreciated. He is a heavy set black male with glasses. He came out of the elevator as we were getting on (2nd floor) and by the time we got to the 1st floor, he was already back downstairs walking around with some paper in his hand. I like to say

Everything was absolutely wonderful! We stayed at this hotel for four days with our young children, and it was one of the most beautiful experiences. The hotel truly matched the description — everything was exactly as promised, and even better in real life. It was clean, comfortable, family-friendly, and very welcoming. We felt safe, relaxed, and at home. Thank you for an amazing stay — we would happily come back again! 🌟

Check in was an issue due to I was told the room I booked was sold out. That was unacceptable but the AGM, Annette quickly resolved that issue. I also like to commend front desk associate, Mya for her customer service skills. The room was nice and clean. However, to the fake robo cop inspector gadget wannabe security, it was not appreciated and you were so obvious as to what you were doing. As a guest, it is not appreciated to watch guests at any hotels. There are incidental fees in place for a reason and I paid mine and I received my fee back. This was a black heavy set man with glasses. Again your behavior wasn't appreciated. Unless there is a reason no guest should have to feel uncomfortable in any hotel. There was also a white slender man in the housekeeping closet with the lights off
