Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kingsland Naval Base I-95

"Caulk and paint make it what it ain't". This place is great if you like a beat up hotel that appears to be the type where contractors stay at for weeks at a time. Paint and cute shelves don't hide imperfections. The lady at check in was great, but that where good experience ended. It's certainly not a new hotel like another review mentioned. I think the pictures will write the review for me. The bed was spongy and as a balding guy, that long dark hair in the shower wasn't mine. As a frequent traveler up and down 95, at least I know where not to stay.

Check-in was smooth and Michelle was very thorough. HOtels.com had technical difficulties and never confirmed my reservation but Michelle took care of it. When the spartan suite bedroom on the first floor had a non-working TV and telephone she gave me another room that was the same price but 3rd floor (carpeted and much nicer). She explained breakfast and side doors I could use to walk my Service dog and I felt safe all around the property. Location is super convenient but very quiet off I-95. The BREAKFAST was AMAZING!! Fresh hit sausage patties and fluffy scrambled eggs for me who is Gluten Free and waffles and bagels and toasts, etc for all. Room was clean, well decorated, and comfortable. As usual warm cookies greeted us. Breakfast had hot and cold items. Easy and off 95. Friendly staff and a good price

We had a wonderful stay at Microtel Inn & Suites in Kingsland, GA. While traveling back from Hilton Head, our one-night stop was very comfortable. Bradley at the front desk was welcoming, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was clean with a great staff. Highly recommend staying here! 😊

Positive: Nothing come to mind. Negative: It was rated 8,2 of 10. Compared to other hotels rated 8+ this hotel should be rated 6. Room was very small, bathroom was in very poor condition ie. tub had what appears to be a crack or hole in the center covered with some type of tape.
