Wind River Motel

Their was a sign on the toilet, explaining to wiggle the handle to flush it. Why don't you just fix it. Then it quit flushing at all

The GARBAGE MOTEL! Absolutely DISGUSTING! No heat in the room. Everything is outdated. EVERYTHING! Carpet is very OLD and it stinks. The sheet are.... how they are.... The sink was clogged. The armchairs are from 50s... The old lady from the reception is almost the same as the hotel is... COCKROACHES???? HELL YEAH!!!! All the place is STINKY. So.... Why you should stop here??? No reason to stay in this garbage motel. You have a lot of options, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH bettre than this motel, and CHEAPER!!!! Please, check the Longhorn Ranch. Just three miles to drive!

The owner was super nice and friendly. We’ve stayed in a cute, cozy cabin with view of the Wind River, it was wonderful, we could hear the sound of the river in our room when we opened the window. The cabin had a porch facing the river. The bed was very comfy and everything was very clean. I can’t understand the negative ratings from the other users - it’s a Motel and Not a 5 Star Hotel.

I had driven through Yellowstone and grand Tetons then here. It was around 9pm. I had no service so I had to get out at every place to ask for availability and rates! I was traveling with small children. I asked if there was availability she said yes then asked one or 2 beds! I said I’ll take one! She told me the room rate for the double was $125. Again I asked for one bed, she said I mean how many children are you traveling with, like 3? Then said I’m not putting those kids in one bed! I asked why not? She said oh because I’m the boss and walks out of the office, half way down the hall turns around and says keep looking some where else! I wouldn’t recommend! She wouldn’t even hold a conversation, horrible way to run a business!

The setting was beautiful. The room was clean. The proprietor was helpful. Our room had no deadbolt and the door didn't shut well. The bed was pretty bad and the shower very dirty.
