Wind Drift Resort

We came to stay at these cabins for the sled dog race in Land O' Lakes, WI. Everything was spotless and clean and the cabin was very comfortable. The resort owners were so accommodating and welcoming. I would highly recommend. Oh, and all the beautiful deer we saw when coming back to the cabin from the first day of the race!

We rented a cabin for the week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The location was impeccable! We also rented the pontoon boat. There was amazing wildlife - lots of bald eagles and incredible views. The grounds were nice with grills and a fire pit to chill with friends. We definitely want to repeat this!

This was our second trip to Wind Drift Resort and the best time ever. The first was back in September 2020 to do some boating and fishing and had an excellent time. This time we went in February 2021, and did some ice fishing, snowmobiling and sled riding and had 12 inches of snow. This trip could not get any better. David and Louann are the best in resorts owners and friends if needed for anything. The time spend there at the resort is one of my best times and will hold a lot of memories to come with. The cabin is always clean and ready for us upon arrival and great view of the lake and activities around us. Looking forward to the fall trip this year back at the cabin. Duane and Pam

This well-kept, recently renovated, clean resort right next to the lake will have you wishing you could stay forever. Towering pine trees, large open family areas in the middle of the cabins with fire pits and play equipment for the kids, and even a shared kitchenette where you clean your catch of the day right next to the cabins are just some of the amenities available. The owners are hands-on, living right there on site, ready to help with any questions you may have. Reasonable rates for these family-friendly cabins will have you coming back year after year.

Excellent accommodations and location! Located right on the shore of Lac Vieux Desert. For several years now we've been renting a cabin for our ice fishing trip and we've never been disappointed. The cabins are clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owners are welcoming and always informative about the fishing. Definitely recommend the Wind Drift Resort for your next trip to the U.P.!
