Forest Gardens Getaway

This B&B is absolutely beautiful and amazing. I have stayed here several times a year for many years as recently as Jan 2026. The hosts are so welcoming, the house is so cozy, and the breakfast is top rated.

This was our very first experience at a bed and breakfast and we were blown away!||The hosts were so welcoming, the home and property beautiful. Coming down the long driveway to see it open onto a gorgeous home situated in the deep woods. The walkway natural stone. Entering the home there was soothing music playing with beautiful soft lighting. The hosts have thought of everything and are very accomodating. A walk in the morning around the backyard lake was a beautiful start to the day. The shared breakfast was exceptional. Our hosts were engaging but gave us our privacy. If we are fortunate enough to get back to this part of the country from New Mexico we will definitely be booking a longer stay at the fabulous retreat!

Our stay in February was everything we could have asked for and more. Beautiful lodging, excellent breakfast, and fascinating hosts. The home is truly a wonder and we enjoyed the peace and quiet with the deer feeding right out the window and watching and listening to the birds at the feeders during breadkfast. The groomed cross country skii trails were wonderful and accessible directly from the home. While we loved the setting in winter, we plan to come back and enjoy it in summer as well. Highly recommend!

We came to Forest Gardens getaway to visit nearby family. We will go back in an instant, and maybe not even tell the family we are coming so we can just enjoy this incredible place! We were there during an incredibly beautiful snowstorm and had the chance to be “snowbound”. I stayed inside and watched the snow, drinking tea, while my husband tried out his new ski shoes in the fresh powder. We both loved it. |The house is truly a marvel. This is the kind of house I would build if I could. Slate floors, beautiful wood, and Frank Loyd Wright style. Their breakfast nook has birdfeeders and even a speaker so you can hear the birds chirping right outside the window! And the deer come right up to the window to eat. This was a beautful place. Off the beaten path and worth finding, The setting was awesome, pond, gardens, screened gazebo, firepit, canoe all acceable. Very relaxing and near lots of places to go. The owners were so welcoming and the food was great. There were alot of special touches like coffee and tea available all day, fresh made cookies in the afternoon. cholates in the room, robes and everything you need in the bathrooms.||I wish I had booked it for more than just 2 nights so we would have had more time to just hang out and explore the trails and everything just near by. Would go back for sure.
