Economy Inn is nicer place to stay in there not all stuck up

I stayed here in the detached room with friends while crewing a race event. We literally only intended to come here to sleep, and the room served this purpose. We didn't see any bugs like some, the staff was nice, but it was definitely bare bones. No toiletries, no internet, old worn carpet and drapes, and old buckets for trash cans. The first couple nights the heater in the room didn't work, though they did bring a portable one. Once they got the built in heater working, it was plenty warm, though somewhat noisy (which would probably keep a light sleeper awake, though we were dead tired). Not someplace that I would choose to stay except for this purpose.

The lady at the front is really nice and friendly. The beds are alright but the putlets are placed weird in the rooms. I stayed for a month with my partner and our 3 month old daughter. It took them almost 2 weeks to take out the trash, which is a big deal when you are changing dirty diapers. To top it all off they have a bug problem. There were ant traps in all the corners of the rooms, we constantly were bothered by flys, and, most importantly, THERE ARE COCKROACHES IN THE BATHROOM. Very unsanitary. I can tell the lad does what she can to clean, but it wasn't much. I would definitely not reccomend this place and I WILL NOT be staying again

First Impressions of the Willows Inn were alright for me. The only problem so far is where the outlet is located in the room. I understand it's only a 2-star hotel but it was a bit of a hassel to plug in my phone charger. The beds are alright, bathrooms are fine, you can't expect much from a 2-star so I under stand the low quality.

Willows Inn is an old-school motel in a quiet part of town far from the freeway. It's owned by a friendly elderly couple who lives on site. My room was small and basic, worn looking, but clean enough. The Wi-Fi is spotty; it worked only sometimes and only when I was standing right outside the office. But there was a nice 40-inch TV with hundreds of channels, a mini-fridge, and a comfy bed. I'm giving it four stars because of the bargain price. Willows Inn was 15% cheaper than Motel 6 would have been that same night and more peaceful. I recommend a walk along the canal up to the cemetery and back. It was a beautiful spring evening and I could see clear from one side of the Valley to the other, from the snow-capped Sierras in the east to the snow-capped Coast Range in the west.
