Holiday Inn Express & Suites Willows by IHG

We were here for a wedding and had an issue with our room smelling like like smoke. My husband immediately informed the service desk and the young man was very helpful and polite in changing our room. It was updated and modern. Great water pressure and heat. Also the breakfast here - whooly molly! Just about every selection you can think of (within reason). Hot, fresh and tasty. They make these croissant cinnamon rolls that I've never seen before to be honest because usually cinnamon rolls are doughy but these were so buttery and flaky, absolutely a winner. The attendant said they make them fresh every day. They're a must-try during your visit.

We stayed one night to break up an 18 hour drive. The place appears to be new - everything was immaculate and clean and brand new. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable. Staff were excellent. This was easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at in this price range.

The room did not have the air conditioner on when we arrived and it was terribly hot. My husband put on the air conditioner and it was horrible! He set it to 68. It cycles in and off ever half hour abd it is horribly loud. It smelled of mildew and mold. I had an allergic reaction and had to take a Benadryl. . My children were asleep so I could not move. They need to do some cleaning. It makes me question everything as far as cleanliness. I will not stay here again!

I have had good experiences with IHG hotels in the past, so on our last night of our road trip I drove us a little further than planned just so I could stay at a hotel brand I trusted (the previous hotel we stayed at in the next town down the I5 at had cramped rooms and stained sheets, gross.) This location was easy to find of the freeway, and a strip mall adjoining the parking lot for food options. From walking in everything was so clean which was appreciated. The lobby was large and clean, our rooms were spacious and clean, no stained sheet The staff was friendly and helpful, which made check-in a breeze after a long day of driving. Plus, they were able to help me with our IHG rewards number. The breakfast options were great, which appeased my toddler. This will definitely be the future

On December 5 I tried booking a one-night stay for Saturday, December 6 but accidentally selected December 5. I made the reservation at around 5:00 PM and realized the mistake immediately. I called the hotel seconds after booking to explain the error and request a date change. The staff refused, stating that there were no changes or refunds because it was the day of check-in and claimed that the hotel had been waiting for me. This explanation made no sense, as I had just made the reservation minutes earlier. they were not waiting all day for me because I literally had just booked it! They did not offer to switch the dates, provide a refund, or issue any credit. As a result, I lost $171.26 for a stay I never used.
