Site is partly on a hillside. There are fine flat spots for at least two tents, but the picnic table needs significant shoring and the fire ring is down the hill about 18 feet from the table. Setting up more than one or two camp chairs around the fire would be pretty much impossible. Beach gravelly but go southeast to the point and it's nice sand (when thee water's low). If you like going to sleep to the sound of loons, ducks and geese, this is your spot. Also, a bald eagle lives in the neighborhood and you're bound to see him/her on a regular basis. Cheater hack: Paddle southeast to the isthmus and there's a trail whereby you can walk back to the sandy boat launch in 25 minutes, if you need to replenish supplies out of your car.
