Either directions are wrong or this doesn't exist. Attached forest service site is a different campground that is not here That being said, it's a lovely place. The road is a narrow rutted dirt one, so prepare there. No way to tell if it's legal to camp there, but if it is I would. Bring bug spray.
I'm sure it's a nice campground, but Google Maps has it on the wrong side of Hwy. 97, on the wrong creek.
Do far is nice quiet place peaceful nice cold stream not to far out of the way
