Williams City Park Campground

A perfect campground for memorial day weekend! Laurel was extremely helpful in getting us a reservation and gave some good local recommendations. We were going to camp at Hayes Lake State Park, but their campground unfortunately had some damage. I'm really happy we were able to find this campground and make a reservation. It wasn't busy at all and we had the entire row to ourselves which was fantastic. Full hookups also made the site even better. We didn't have to waste time filling and dumping which helped as we had to drive for 6.5 hours to and from Mankato. They have a nice playground and primitive toilets as well. Altogether a fantastic stay and $35/night cash only (put in gray drop box).

Nice city campground with water, electric and sewer. Not busy which was great to have the whole park to ourselves. Reservations were easy to make and the person who makes the reservations is very friendly and helpful. My only feedback for improvement would be to compact the parking pads. The gravel was pretty soft and the camper left ruts in the gravel.

What a great park. Electric and sewer hookups. Nice, new playground for the kids. Quite and quaint. I was told they are adding water hookups this summer and are hoping to have a shower house soon! Will definitely camp here again.

Very good condition, updated park. Lots of fun challenges for kids off all ages. Small playhouse, steering wheel, various climbing walls and ladders, teetor totter, etc. Would be great for older kids but my 2&4 year old love it. Portapotties close by and large grassy area and covered shelter with several picnic tables also available.

The playground equipment is top notch! Extra camping spots added this year as well. A nice stop for the kids to get out and burn energy!
