Willard Munger Inn

Our team has stayed at The Willard Munger Inn several times when we travel to Duluth for robotics competitions, and every stay has been wonderful. Jeff always goes above and beyond to create a great experience for our students. The rooms are consistently clean, comfortable, and cozy. He has been incredibly welcoming to our team, allowing us to use the lobby for team breakfasts and dinners. During our most recent stay, Jeff even went out of his way to purchase additional chairs so every student had a place to sit for our team dinner. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to us. We are so thankful for Jeff and his friendly staff and highly recommend staying at The Willard Munger Inn. We can’t wait for our next trip back to Duluth and to stay there again as a team!

I love getting away from the chains who soak travelers on weekends when they jack up thier rates. Jeff, the owner, is fantastic, attentive and proud of his motel. The room is decked out in a cabin motif, with nice bedside lamps, carr siding throughout and best of all, pretty darn quiet. ive met two groups of fellow travelers and they are very happy as well. As a lifelong photojournalist and railroad photographer, this is a perfect place to chill, have a shot, and warm up after a day outside. The Atlanta Yeti is very happy with his choice!

We genuinely appreciate staying at Willard Munger Inn due to its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, our pets have been accommodated with us previously which made it even more special for us. Pets are integral to our family, and having them with us on vacation is essential. The rooms are clean, tidy, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The location is conveniently close to attractions and restaurants. We appreciate supporting small businesses, and William Munger is an excellent choice. We highly recommend it.

Stayed here for a weekend in the winter for a little girls trip the room was beautiful and spacious. Very Clean!!!! Got a call from the manager day of check in was very nice. Very easy check in. Will definitely be coming back every time.

A nest hotel not to far from downtown. The outside looks like a standard motel, but the rooms have more of a cabin feel to me. Second time we have stayed there. Pet friendly. Fire pits outside, plenty of wood. The jacuzzi takes a bit of time to fill, at least in our room, but was still nice and relaxing. Would definitely stay again.
