South Pier Inn

The room was fantastic! Our room faced the canal, which I would highly recommend. We were able to see one ship coming into the harbor. Watching it pass by our window was so awesome, even though it was 5am! Breakfast was very good & the perfect way to start our day. I highly recommend this place!! Location is fantastic, especially if you are interested in harbor traffic.

We always choose South Pier Inn when we visit Duluth and we are always extremely happy with our choice. The views from the rooms are incredible! The service and amenities are always excellent. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the hot tubs and fire places are a huge plus. The location is perfect- within walking distance from shops, restaurants, and more beautiful outdoor spaces where you can take in amazing views of the lake! Once in a while you hear the very loud horn from passing through ships, but we LOVE that sound and the ships are a big reason we love to stay here! South Pier will continue to be our go-to place to stay when we travel to the area and I'm looking forward to our next visit!!

Oh, we loved the room. The window view was great! And most of all the room is clean. Staff are friendly and willing to help at anytime. Best hotel spot if you visit bentleyville. Fair price for holiday season

My wife and I love staying here on our anniversary. We love Duluth, Lake Superior, and South Pier Inn. Our experience with South Pier Inn has always been great. The view from the hotel is amazing, the atmosphere of the hotel is pleasant, and the staff have always been friendly. We plan to come back to our favorite hotel every year.

Excellent location. Well-maintained room with a much-appreciated fireplace. I loved seeing the Bentleyville lights from our room and having a leisurely walk to Bentleyville. We stopped at Vikre on the way; what a treat! ||Easy check-in and check-out. Parking was right by the room door. Good continental breakfast. I loved having the Greek yogurt bar. Cookies, fruit and coffee available all day. Would definitely recommend.
