Our experience at Wilderness Oaks this year was unfortunately very disappointing, especially compared to last year. When my husband stayed here previously under the former management, the park truly felt welcoming and family-friendly. We visited often with our kids and always felt comfortable and included. This year was a completely different experience. During a Thanksgiving visit, one of the current managers made an extremely inappropriate comment to my children (ages 10 and 14), saying that if there were any more kids he would “use them for fish bait” and that if it were up to him, kids wouldn’t be allowed in the park. This was shocking and upsetting. Our kids are respectful, well-behaved, and generally very well liked—there was absolutely no reason for a comment like that. There were a

In looking for winter extended stays,we emphasize, location, site size, pool and or hot tub, quality fitness room and freindly staff. Here great location, sites a little tight, challenging but doable for our 5th wheel, pool is nice but not heated for our stay☹️heater was'nt working. Gym was not as shown on pics. No tread mills, elliptical, bike, bow flex out of order, weight machines soso☹️ the staff is great and camp people very freindly. So in ending 2 things high on our list, pool unusable during our stay and gym dissapointing.

The park is old, spots are short, there is no grass, the WiFi wasn’t good and our spot had 20+ mounds of sand as gophers dug everywhere. I overlooked those things at first because I came for work camping but I quickly learned the environment was very toxic and I was walking on eggshells everyday. I as well as other work campers & customers were yelled at several times, belittled & treated with no respect. A vendor was even chased out of the park with Bill yelling at him! I was the 8th or so work camper in 2+ months to leave or get fired & unfortunately those creating such toxicity are still there. I met lots of great people & understand it use to be a very nice community but with the current insane management stay away! I know many who are afraid of being kicked out of the park if they s

This was our 3rd winter at Wilderness Oaks. Up until this winter we enjoyed our stay with 1 incident (see below), even made some friends. Arrived in late Oct. and planned to leave in April. But decided to leave in Jan. We fulltime RV and have been all over the country, we have NEVER experienced a more unprofessional mgt. team. We agree with All the negative reviews and do not recommend this park. Just so happens that the good reviews, especially last 5 months are from the co-mgr Renee, work campers or their wives KeVen. I suppose they are trying to counter the negative with fake positive reviews. There are several aggressive dogs in the park one attacked my small dog the 1st yr which required medical attention. The owners did pay the vet bills, but in hindsight I wish I would have taken

Great RV park to stay in. Bill and Renee are great managers who took the park on as a work in process and are making improvements everyday. Linda the Activities Director has things planned all the time. We became fulltime RVers in September with hopes to not see snow this winter. Found this park by accident and am so glad we did. The weather is great here some wind but still nice enough to enjoy the saltwater pool. The area offers plenty to do as well. Its nice to have a big kitchen to use. We feel like a neighborhood with the many friends we have made here.
