Mom and Pop's RV and Fishing Retreat

We stayed February 3–7 in the Flounder Flats cabin and the whole trip was incredible. The cabin was extremely accommodating and had everything we needed for every meal we cooked. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and Dina was an outstanding host — super responsive and very easy to work with. We met several other guests staying in the RV area and truly enjoyed every conversation. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and just great people to be around. Our kiddos loved walking the shoreline and collected a bunch of beautiful shells. The pier setup is perfect for families — rails on both sides and only about 50 yards from the cabin, so going back and forth was quick and easy. Fishing was red hot. Night one: 4 keeper drum. Night two: no keeper, but we landed a giant 41” / 35-lb big ugly. Night

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Mom and Pops RV and Fishing Retreat! We needed to find a last minute stay as we were passing thru Rockport. I read so many wonderful reviews about this place and decided to give them a call. Dina,the owner is amazing—super friendly, professional, and made reserving a full-hookup RV spot on a concrete slab quick and easy, with multiple payment options. This place is a hidden gem. It was so quiet and relaxing that we decided to stay 2 extra nights! If you love fishing, this place is a dream! The fishing pier is well lit and stocked with fishing nets, chairs, and spotlights. We had the absolute best time at Mom and Pop's RV and Fishing Retreat! It was quiet and the convenience of a private fishing pier is top tier. Plus they provided chairs and nets for fishing, which I have never had before. The cottage was cozy and just the right size we needed and located near everything without being smack in the middle. We will 1000% be staying here again.

Came for a retreat to a modern, clean cabin w/all amenities provided! Comfy, tv’s in all rooms, cold a/c & especially loved the wooden plaque w/the WiFi password, so cute & helpful! Spectacular sunsets but the walking trail to the point was the mist magical part…..their wetlands are pristine & untouched. Saw every bird even a Roseatte (sp?) Spoonbill up close. Fish jumping shrimp swimming & crabs crawling. I’ll come back w/my family next time. Thank you Mom & Pop!!!❤️

We had a very restful and enjoyable time. I joined a a group of guys for as much fishing as we could get in. The cabins are very clean and well stocked. The location is off the beaten path which offers great quiet and seclusion. I will be back for sure. (looks like we caught the same stingray as others. Back to the ocean he went.) Thanks for a great time!
