Whitehorse Falls Campground

One of many waterfalls along that stretch of Hwy 138. The leaking large water thing in the parking lot is a pain....... Limited parking to start with and this thing sprays water 24/7 all over the lot. You need to see it to understand it.

We didn't camp here but did visit the falls. Even in summer this is a great place to visit with the falls surrounded by forest. It is an easy trail from the parking area to the falls. Definitely worth a visit.

Really wanted to like this more but it just did not work for us. Great for a tent camper but for our needs of wanting to be level in our small RV there was only one site that 'might' have worked. It is a beautiful setting and only five camp sites with two set along the creek/falls. It is heavily treed and shaded so I would expect mosquitos. It is away from the road far enough to reduce road noise and the falls pretty much cover up any sounds from the road, so that's a bonus for campgrounds along hwy 138.
