Whitefish Lodge & Suites

Pool is awesome with a large kiddie pool and large hot tub along with their standard pool. The hotel is starting to show some age, but not too bad. I do feel like they could do better with their amenities. Their breakfast is very minimal with cereal, muffins, toasts, a waffle maker or omelets from the fridge you have to microwave. Arcade is nothing to brag about, not maintained and had a few empty or broken games when we were there.

Room was clean but worn out. Morning breakfast was very minimal. We had an issue that happened before check in. The night clerk (very nice and professional) said it would be cleared up in the morning. The morning front desk clerk was extremely rude. Wouldn't even talk about the issue. She walked away yelling at two senior citizens. We won't be staying at the Whitefish Lodge and Suites in the future. I won't recommend it to family or friends either. The experience was bad. No way to treat guests!

Pretty places in sight beds are average, continental breakfast is you might get it. You might not first day we got it second day we sat there. Nobody showed up! tolls are like sandpaper, very clean in side lots of neat decorations!

Whenever I capture a wedding at Whitefish Lodge for Complete Weddings + Events, I am reminded how timeless a lake setting can be. The water, the trees, and the open sky create a calm and polished atmosphere that translates beautifully on video. It is a perfect location for couples who want their wedding film to feel relaxed, scenic, and distinctly Minnesota.

We booked a stay for one night to be in town for a friend who is at a cabin. The night attendant was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were ok - not lavish, but not dingy either. My husband went to the breakfast area at 6am and found the waffle mix was not working/set up (breakfast is set for 6-10a). He went to the front desk and the person blew him off, basically saying "what do you want me to do about it?" If the waffle mix was not availble, not many options were given - cereal, a few muffins, yogurt, and frozen pre-made eggs (e.g. for egg sandwiches) in the fridge. The attendant who takes care of the breakfast area finally came out from the back room at 8a and worked on the waffle mix machine, then had to be told "hey, the maple syrup jug is empty" and "the garbage is overflow
