Boyd Lodge

We had a wonderful time with great company celebrating 40th bday. I have been to Boyd lodge in the past numerous of times, but this is the first time my family has been here. They really loved it. We would definitely be coming back. The place was exceptional with no complaints.

Lovely home with all the amenities. Deer cruised through the yard almost every night. We slept peacefully in comfortable beds and made our favorite foods in the well-appointed kitchen.|The staff was friendly and helpful. When we realized my toddler grandson didn't have crayons, the desk clerk said, "I'll be right back," and returned with a bag filled with crayons. Our grandson loved "living in a park" for a few days.|The house was spotless when we arrived. The area is very quiet, though that could have been the time of year.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience this past week with my family while staying at Boyd Lodge. The cabins are easily accessible to the lakes and nature trails. Our cabin was outfitted with several beds, bathrooms, full kitchen, and an outdoor grill. The fireplace is cozy and the living areas were nice. There were two community pools we could use, as well as a hot tub. There is a fitness center, while small, gets the job done. Unfortunately, the saunas did not appear to work during our stay. There are different items you can borrow from the lobby including bean bags for corn hole, paddles and vests for kayaks, and even items like a crib for small children. First time visiting Boyd Lodge. Mike & Ruth are really hospitable and welcoming. The cabin was spotless and furnished as advertised, so no surprises at meal time. They gave us a list of reputable fishing guides and the one we picked was knowledgeable and patient.|Couldn’t have asked for a better place for a first time visit to MN. Now we know where to come back to next time. Great place and well worth the price!

I absolutely love this place. Very cozy cabins to stay in. Great restaurants not far. Fishing was great on the lake. Can’t wait to go back again.
