Beacon Shores Resort

Beacon Shores is one of the best places I’ve ever been to. The owners are very nice and very helpful. The place is beautiful and the lake is amazing. The place is very spacious and it was my brothers favorite place to go. We used to have a cabin right next-door to Beacon Shores and I’ve grown up there my whole life And all I can say is it was my brothers favorite place before he passed away this last September and I will always cherish and love this place!

My grandson and I spent a week at Beacon Shores Resort on the Whitefish Chain of lakes. The people who own and manage this small, family style resort are among the friendliest of folks that I have ever met. My 8 year old grandson enjoyed all the children's activities, especially the craft making, bonfire s'mores and the minnow races. Although it is at a grade that is slightly above the beach, the resort is clean and well laid out. Our cabin was spotless and in great shape. We never saw a bug or mosquito. They provide a lift for your boat and the beach and dock area is kid friendly. If you want a fancy resort with leather couches and indoor pools, this isn't where you should go. If you want a friendly, clean, family type resort that is a great value for the money, then you should try Beacon

The folks at Beacon Shores have created a laid back “just come here and enjoy yourself” atmosphere. relax, let the kids roam free on playgrounds, down by the beach, or in your cute cabin. Everything you could ask for in a family oriented atmosphere. The owners even set up a nice fire for the adults with kids sleeping nearby in the cabins. Perfect location on lower whitefish, close to Crosslake and within boating distance to Margaritaville. Come see for yourself!

My family has been coming here for years & we love it. The owners are friendly & helpful. There's a range of cabins and prices so you can find the perfect fit for your needs. We enjoy the game room on rainy days and the beautiful lake on nice days. My toddler loves the playground area. I highly recommend!

I honestly am overwhelmed with the hospitality of the owners of the resort and with the hired hand, Jake! They have been more than accommodating to every need, want and in between! First off, our cabin was absolutely perfect! Cabin #6 is right on the water with a screened-in porch and a deck, sunsets are unbelievable to watch! Not to mention the beautiful lakes. Rent a boat from them, u will be nothing but thankful! My boyfriend turned 50 here, I couldn't imagine a better place for him to enjoy his birthday, vacation or just time. If u are thinking about it...DO IT!!!!! Cabins have all that you need, with Weber grills to boot! We will definitely be back for many years to come!|
