Whistle Stop RV Park

We loved it so much we added a night to our trip! Our wooded site across the creek in their group camp area was lovely. We had great views of the mountains, and the sounds of the creek and birds made a relaxing addition to our morning coffee. The dogs loved splashing in the creek- Perfect for a hot day. Although most sites are off grid with no utilities, they had a very accessible fill station and dump station with squeaky clean showers and bathrooms. We biked to town (although you could easily walk it) and biked around the trails at the gold dredge. Beautiful town and fantastic stay. You can tell a lot of love and attention goes into this campground. We will be back next year!

Had a great stay. Jon and Rebecca have done a great job with the park. Great views of the mountains, the creek has some great swimming holes for the kids, and the access to the trails are right out of camp!

Great spot to camp and ride out of. I encredible customer service. Stars at night are the best I've ever seen. Quiet. Verizon works out here.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Got a spot with water flowing right in front of our rig. You could hear the water which made for a relaxing stay. Owners are very nice and helpful if you have questions or need directions to a location. Great place for a base camp for riding side by sides. You can leave right from the rv park. Took a train ride while there. Many historic locations within walking distance.Loved the little town of Sumpter.

Such a cute place! Reasonably priced for electric and water hookup for our RV. Showers available. Next to town. Super friendly owners. Cute and cold creek running through. Lpts of UTV trails nearby. Would stay again!
