Our recent stay at Wheat Creek Outpost was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We had the most amazing time! The tents are beautiful — thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Every detail has clearly been considered, and it made the entire experience feel effortless and special. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, the perfect mix of comfort and nature. We loved starting our mornings with coffee at the lodge and ending our nights around the campfire under the stars. It was the perfect way to unwind and truly disconnect. We rang in the new year in the Perch, and it was absolutely perfect!! We brought our high energy pups and they had a great time running through the walnut grove and in the creek! The rooms are beautifully decorated, and TJ & Jessica thought of everything. They had items for the pups which felt really special. The kitchen is well equipped - we especially enjoyed the coffee beans and grinding them fresh each morning! There was plenty of warmth with the fireplace and space heaters for subfreezing temps. You can tell just how much thought and care was put into the entire property. It really is one of the nicest venues we have stayed at. We will definitely be returning!!!

Jessica and TJ have mastered the art of LUXURY (and Dudley the Doodle has mastered the art of cuteness!). This stay was one of the best stays we've ever had. I am blown away by Wheat Creek Outpost's attention to detail and the effort they put into every single aspect of the guest experience. The tent is high-class, ultra cozy, and comfortable. You can tell that each piece of furniture and decoration (even the utensils) are chosen with care to create an elegant and luxurious environment. It's like stepping into the front page of a magazine. The love and care shown to each guest can't be beat. A beautiful handwritten note greets you on arrival and our dog even had his own little welcome package! We were craving a new year getaway that was peaceful in nature but with modern, boutique-y vibes and Wheat Creek Outpost glamping was just that! We stayed in the Dogwood tent and were very impressed by all the perfectly curated decor and cozy vibes! The husband and wife hosts and their pup were beyond friendly and accommodating in every way - they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was incredible and it really was! It was a nice escape from the “city life” of Charlotte and there are so many cute, fun towns close by to discover or the property is nice for a chill vibe. We loved it and hope to come back with our pups and friends soon!!!!

Our stay was AMAZING!!! We stayed at the Wheat Creek Outpost for Christmas and it was such a relaxing stay. Everything we needed was available at the Perch. From the decor to the little details, the space was welcoming. Our pups enjoyed it as well, plenty of space for them to run and play. They were greeted with a large cozy bed, blanket, bowls, treats, and new camping theme toys. We had a great time at the fire pit that was steps away from our yurt, endless wood to keep the fire going all day/night long. The entire space was truly magical and we can’t wait to come back soon!
