Good staff, late check in was available. Good location for me I went there for my business purpose, that was only 10 mins away from where I had to go.

Very nice people, friendly staff. They are on the edge of Folkston but within walking distance of several stores if you want to take a scroll for exercise or don't have transportation. Spacious rooms with some upgrades being made. Quiet and I definitely feel safe when I am there. I highly recommend Western Motel.

Stopped here because it looked like the better of the two, wrong. We would have left but was just too tired to move on. The room smelled like dirty ac or mold. Dead roaches in the safety thing on the door and behind toilet paper. Pillows were stained, you’d think new pillows aren’t that expensive. And we got one a piece. Same with towels one each, lol Everything was dusty and behind night Stands and such were DIRTY. Front desk seemed really nice thou. Would have given a zero for room if I could

We were in the area to bird the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and this was one of two places to stay in Folkston. It is clear that the owners are trying to update and improve the property. Room was clean. Beds were okay.Linens were okay. Wifi was weak. Pool area is tiny but probably good enough to cool off on a hot day. Location was good for us. No breakfast of any sort offered. We paid less at a Holiday Inn Express in Silver Springs after this and got a really nice room and facility there. I would rate this property better if it hadn't been so pricey for what it is. But, it's the only game in town so if you want to stay in this area you have to pay the price.
