Relax Inn - Folkston

Let me tell you what this place is for real a roach motel. The outside other then the the construction looked pretty good but once you walk in the room you know that the place is needing so much update. In all honesty and on everything I love I kept my socks on and while I was laying in bed after many hours of driving and was needing sleep but was about to fall asleep felt a tickle on my shoulder and then on my chest and turned on the light next to the bed and sure enough had a roach running across my chest. I was beside myself but needed to sleep.

The 1st think you'll notice when u pull up is that half of it is burned up. The pool is empty, therefore useless. The bedspread was not only unraveling, there was a silver dollar sized hole in it. The pillow cases and sheets were stained, badly! The ice machine didn't work either. The refrigerator was dirty, and the woman at the front desk told us that she was giving us 1 of her cleanest/ best rooms. If that was the best, I'd hate 2 see the other rooms! We were charged $489 for the 8th thru till the 10th. It's a rip off! I do NOT recommend!

Horrible place to stay. I asked the person at the counter if the rooms were nice, she said you will be pleased. The sheets and towels were stained, the sink was held up by a 2x4 and still had a huge gap they tried to fill with caulk, the toilet was loose. If it weren't so late I would have left, but my wife and I was beat. If it was cheap at least you get what you pay for, but I paid almost $100 for the night . I do NOT recommend staying here.

I spent the night here and had almost the best sleep of my life. The rooms were so clean. If I could I would stay here for as long as possible also the employees are super kind! I highly recommend it.

This quaint motel delivers plenty for an affordable price. The owners were attentive and helpful. My room was very clean, although dated, and the shower delivered plenty of hot water. The bed, pillows, and linens were far above the quality expected for a motel at this price point. The location is convenient and a big grassy courtyard for pets. I'll certainly be back.
