West Sonoma Inn & Spa

We stayed here while attending a wedding across the street at Dawn Ranch. So many issues affecting our satisfaction, comfort and overall experience we had.||* The ceiling is half painted in one color and half painted in another. Obvious recent patching done to the ceiling. Patching was done poorly, and the paint cover up was worse (picture attached).|* It was a hot day, attempted to close the blinds. 2 of 3 blinds would not close. Frustrating. Managed to get only 1 down half mast.|* There were cups wrapped in plastic next to sink. There was a spider INSIDE of the plastic wrap. It was revolting. We had a wonderful stay at West Sonoma Inn & Spa! The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with beautiful views of the surrounding farms and trees. It felt peacefully secluded yet conveniently close to everything in Guerneville. A big shoutout to Naveed at the front desk—he was incredibly supportive, responsive, and genuinely kind. His caring and helpful nature made us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway from busy city life. The environment is serene, surrounded by redwoods and vineyards. We especially loved the hot tub jacuzzi, which was clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend this hidden gem in Sonoma County. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed for two days in November in the two-bedroom suite. I really wanted to like it but it was pretty bad. The good: friendly, helpful management, clean decent beds, WiFi worked, spa massage good. But there was a problem with the layout and basic maintenance of the place. It had a single heat pump that did not provide adequate heat esp to the bedrooms, water was very cold in sinks, water in shower didn’t fully go to shower head but a lot came out of the bath spout, broken shade in one room, broken stove top (they did bring a portable one), no shelves or hooks on bathroom to put anything down, but worst was the constant mildew smell. It wasn’t altogether the worst place, but not 3 star and not worth what we spent. Would not stay again.

I honestly loved staying at the west Sonoma Inn and spa. |Sadly, I had to cut my trip short due to a family emergency . |The manager was easily accessible. I came in early and he was willing to check me in before check in time. I had no trouble finding him. He answered the phone quickly by the lobby and came straight to the lobby to check me in. I decided to go for a hike instead, and when I returned, he was just as prompt to the lobby. |He was extremely kind , considerate, and thoughtful.|He provided me the most beautiful room. The bed was extremely comfortable. The facility was exceptionally clean. The room was very spacious, quiet and peaceful. I’ve stayed at WSI three times now, and every time I had a great experience. Staff at the front desk is always helpful, kind, and friendly. They quickly respond to requests during the stay. When booking directly with them, I had a wonderful experience. Naveed was very helpful over the phone in helping me decide on what kind of room I want. All the rooms I’ve stayed in were comfortable and spacious with beautiful views of the vineyards. I will be coming back and would highly recommend it.
