Customer Reviews
I was surprised to find it so full on a Tuesday, but we were still able to get a sweet spot with some privacy. The host was so kind and helpful, just a sweetheart. The bathrooms were the cleanest campground bathrooms I’ve ever experienced. The host not only puts occupied on the signs, he also writes an open till date when applicable! Now I know why this place is so successful- it’s the amazing host!
Stayed here on our way back home to the front range. Chose it since about a mile off main roads. Turned out to be a great choice. Quiet, not crowded. As others have said, cleanest rest rooms at a camp ground. Not only did we think that in the evening, but the hosts were there promptly in the morning cleaning it again (even though it seemed like it didn't need cleaning). Friendly hosts. Plenty of room in the site where we set up a 3-person tent and 2-person tent separated by around 40 feet (kids wanted the extra space). Comfortable temp at night. Recommended. Stayed 8/10/14.
This was such a nice campground. Out camp host was exceptional. He gave us recommendations on what to see and do. Very helpful and knowledgeable. We had four rv's with us. Two fifth wheels and two motor homes. Sites 15,16,17 and 18 were perfect. With easy access to the stream. Sites were clean and spacious. No cell service
This campground is down a very bumpy dirt road, but we haul a trailer and took it slow. The camp host John is so friendly and keeps the bathrooms SO CLEAN!! It is quiet and you can hear the river in early June just roaring and great to fall asleep to. The hikes around are beautiful. A great place to camp, relax and hike. Lots of reservations and first come first serve sites. We will be back again.
Stayed here un our RV a couple years ago and absolutely loved it. Very serene. Camp host was friendly. Sites are spaced apart. Much nicer than camping at a place like Navajo Dam.
