West Beach Inn, a Coast Hotel

Our room was on the garden level, with 10 foot hedges providing separation from the street, and we had a semi private patio, but traffic was loud and annoying at times. Shower water pressure was perfect, but the design of the shower left the rear of the shower open, which let water onto the floor. Cool to look at, but not practical. Nice furniture and comfortable bed and pillows. Location was perfect with walking distance to the pier and downtown. Staff was very friendly. We will stay here again. The price was lower than other rooms on the beach and the quality was better than expected. Pool and hot tub were clean and heated. Parking was convenient right outside our room.

We had a wonderful time here this past weekend. Thanks to Dyan, who recommended the Harbor view room, we had an amazing view of the beach, pier and harbor during the storm. Watching the rain on the water was beautiful. Definitely upgrade to a view if you can. I can’t even imagine the amazing view on a sunny day. Thanks, again, Dyan. | We enjoyed the robes, the jacuzzi (it open until 11pm which is nice), the breakfast, the wine and cheese hour, the good quality towels, all the little touches were on point.| We walked to State St, Stearns Wharf and dinner at Brophy Bros on the Harbor. Everything was close and convenient. | Definitely would stay again.

*A cozy hotel with a pool and hot whirl pool. *The staff is attentive and pleasant. *The rooms are very clean and open to a private patio. *The hotel is older but cozy and comfortable beds. *Only problem was the very poor ventilation fan in the bathroom. *The continental breakfast was good with a variety of food. *Very close to the downtown area and beach. 😎

Best hotel in Santa Barbara!! We stayed here back in 2023 when we first got married and absolutely loved it. Decided to come back for our 3 year anniversary, and had such a wonderful experience again. The view is breathtaking, jacuzzi feels amazing, and the staff is so kind & helpful. I look forward to coming back next year for our 4 yr anniversary. I really love that the jacuzzi closes at 11pm and that there is a washer/dryer on sight in case anyone stays longer and needs wash done. We were worried that the rain, thunder, & lightning would ruin our trip but West Beach Inn made our experience so much fun. Thank you Patricia, you were the most helpful and kind. We can’t wait come back !! 10/10 Highly recommend, must book !
