Weldon House Inc

Weldon House is a dump. They charged us premium pricing ($199 per person) for a Motel that is slightly better than living outside. I say slightly because the roof didn't leak surprisingly. We were lured in with photos of beautiful rooms and jacuzzi tubs. What we paid for was bugs, spiders, a moldy stall shower and a bed who's headboard tried to kill me. Please see the photos below and AVOID Walden House and Blackthorne Resort like the plague!

One of the most bizarre experience I have ever had at a hotel. It is owned by the black thorne resort, and I booked it by calling them. When I get to the property, it looked abandoned. The office was unlocked, but no one was there, and looked like no one had been there for years. I finally found a sign indicating that if there was no one around I should go to the black thorn. From what I gather, there is never and employee at this place. Room was weird. It had the same print framed and hanging twice. Door was broken and did not lock. No indication where anyone should park, so people were just parking on the grass. Fine as a crash pad for the car show, but would not go there for any other reason.

This place needs a lot of work.... It was just barely more tolerable than staying in a tent in the pouring rain. I didn't care that everything is outdated, but did care that the windows didn't shut all the way and we had to put a plastic trash bag over our door as parts of the panes were missing and you could see right in.

The Weldon house is a horrible place to stay. The rooms are horribly small. The door to my room had glass/plastic slats, the one was broke out and the screen was cut where somebody broke into the room previously and it was never fixed. There was no refrigerator or microwave. There were nails sticking out of the steps going upntonthe room. So over all I'd say do not stsy there EVER unless you want to get robbed or get tetanus.

It was inhabitable! First it looked vacant with what looked to b a haunted empty house in the front As soon as we opened the door it had a horrible odor..there was mold in the bathrooms..spider webs all over the place. Dead spiders on the pillows and mice droppings on the bed! The worst place i ever saw!
