The DeerWatch

The DeerWatch is a lovely, well maintained home. Very clean with full amenities. The hosts are responsive, helpful and kind. The surrounding landscape is beautiful and we enjoyed the nature, peace and privacy.

Me. my brother and his wife spent several nights @ The Deer Watch Inn. The owners Joann and Jack were so sweet, friendly and accomodating. We stayed in the quarters that their family usually stay in when they are in town. It was really spacious and had a nice view of the beautiful pond and fountain. Jack would leave food for us to feed the Koi fish in the pond and he told us we could even pet them. Joann was an amazing cook and treated us like royalty every morning, with a fresh homemade break to start with then either waffles or eggs. Delicious! We asked Joanne if she had any folding chairs we could take to The Mtn Jam Festival we attended and she came up with 3(and also gave me her gardening hat to wear). I would definitely recommend this place.

We rented this house due to the location, pond, and the amount of guest it could sleep for our son’s wedding. It did not disappoint! The host helped us all along the way and the event was a huge success! The venue is fabulous with everything you could want for that quiet outside wedding atmosphere! Just loved it!

Such a peaceful, relaxing place for a family gathering. We felt like we'd come home! The beautiful fields and woods offered up delightful strolls, and so nice to sit and relax by the pond. Huge, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, heaven on earth!

We were a group of 4 couples spending a weekend in the area. Jack and Joann were great hosts! They gave us great recommendations for restaurants, etc. The historic inn was very comfortable and clean; full of pictures and history of the area. We had amazing breakfasts both mornings. The dock on the pond was such a nice place to relax at the end of the day!||Our night of music will be unforgettable!
