Blackthorne Resort

We camped with out travel trailer for the redneck weekend. My wife, kids and I had a great time. Live music every night. Great food and drinks. Thanks Dale and Roy for all you put into blackthorne!

The Blackthorne holds a huge array of fantastic events all throughout the year. Great time always had for me, for decades, and it keeps getting better and better!! Many, many thank yous to the Handel Family for all they do throughout the community!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in July 2025. This is a family run resort that is perfect for families, especially those that want to enjoy the outdoors and each other's company. The meals are plentiful and tasty, the rooms comfortable, the rates affordable and the grounds spacious and clean. Patty, Roy, Dale and company go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Our stay in July 2025 will be our 23rd consecutive at The Blackthorne and we can't wait. If you want a fun, family vacation, this is the place to go!

Had my honeymoon there it was perfect they upgraded my room for me for free after finding my first room dirty. The breakfast and dinner is a good add on for the price. There are two bars on the property. Spend the extra money on the better room there's a back deck where ducks visited me every morning. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This place is in a beautiful area of the Catskills it's kind of an oddball as it combines Campgrounds with little lodges that are pretty run down but they have some really nice events like the Halloween event and she's definitely worth attending
