Just for perspective sake Im Rockland County born and raised(not that it matters).seriously, this is probably the finest hotel in Honesdale. Heres my 5 star paws of approval on this place! sorry it took so long, takes longer wenn when I got all nice things to write. I give this establishment 5 stars... Niiicee, PET FRIENDLY!!!, perfect if you got K9 friends(which is why youll LOVE staying here)... I am giving this Motel the lowest score possible and would never recommend it. The hotel is old and appears to have never been remodeled. The carpet was old, well worn and ripped. Mattresses were extremely soft and old. The first night we were there the bathtub faucet had a steady stream of water running that we could not turn off. When the manager came to look at it he couldn’t fix it and there were no other rooms. We had to deal with it for the night.|Next day the manager tried to fix it again. We were told that in order to fix it the water would have to be turned off for the entire hotel. He left late in the afternoon and we never heard from him again.|Next day we were able to change rooms only to have a problem with the shower again. Positive: The staff was friendly and helpful. They couldn't have been any nicer. The hotel was easy to find and parking was convenient. Negative: The parking lot was full of potholes. The room needed to be updated and the walls were thin. You could hear every sound in the adjacent rooms.

Needed an overnight place to rest for 2 for a wedding at a local venue. It served is purpose for the low rate, somewhere to sleep with bathroom/ shower amenities. Staff is very nice and make sure you have what you need. View from the room was nice from the second floor. There's no free coffee but there's a small café attached with awesome brews! Room was small but very clean with a double bed, the TV had cable, there's a small fridge, a good sized desk, plenty of electrical outlets, a hanging rack for clothes and luggage stand. I didn't see a phone 🤔. The mattress was not the best, hard on my back but for 1 night but worth it. Overall would stay there again.

Booked for 1 month for a family member. Your staff a woman named "Tammy" made the process easy. She was so nice an accommodating with all my questions. Also they stayed over at Wayne Hotel 1night and staff also was so nice. Hopefully it will be a good month I'm confident from speaking to this lovely lady it will be.
