Hotel Wayne

The pics that show this place must be at least 20 years old! The porch is rotting so they threw carpet over it. The shower floor is so small you can't lift your arm & the floor is rotting so it feel like you are going to fall through any time. So many extension cords it must be a fire hazard. Crack in sink, stains in carpet. There are bags of laundry in the hallway & a plug in fan to hide the oder. Just a nasty cheap looking place that should be taken care of if you are going to call it a "historic building" Just disgusting is all I'm going to say

Ill remain neutral on this, nice place, nice people, not the best place when dealing with a foot injury, and a torso injury. Personally I wouldnt eat anything out of this place, unless the kitchen is cleaner than I remember. Mcdonalds kitchen much cleaner than what I remember that was back in the day, im sure by now kitchen is a lot cleaner. REPAIR SHOWER TEMPERATURE, burned myself trying to shower. Couldve given me the sheets instead of throwing them out, needed a few cigarettes, would've fallen down the stairs had I walked down the stairs. ID BE HAPPY TO HAVE A FINE DRINK HERE... "watered back"

The customer service at the front desk was horrible. I had to cancel my reservation and was okay with the outcome in regards to receiving a refund or not. The lady at the front desk just left the front desk, complained under her breath, and never came back. That was rude. I don't want to imagine the service I would have received if I would've stayed. That is so sad that people especially a guest would get treated that way. I was completely ignored. I was really nice when I walked in. That being said I would never do a reservation there again and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The owners of this place should be ashamed! For the money it cost us you would think it would be a decent place but it's a rat nest! The receptionist couldn't be bothered to sit up & just very unprofessional. The carpet is old and dirty. The shower floor is rotting underneath all the paint that they used to water proof it then covered that with a rubber bath mat. My husband thought he was going to fall through the floor. I was repulsed! The sink has a crack in it. There were so many extension cords to plug in window a/c & lamps that you knew it wasn't updated in many years if ever. It was just the cheapest looking room I have ever been in. The tv wires ran amuck along the wall. The hallway had large trash bags full of linen & it stunk so they put a plug in fan to deal with that. The porch

The service, excepting one person, was awesome. Unfortunately the building is a dump. I can't review the restaurant, because I didn't get food from them, but their staff helped hotel guest, and they were fantastic. Idk who owns the place, but it is dire need of investment. There is old water damage form a leaky roof. The rooms are kind of hap hazard. I would give the building a break because it's 200 years old, but damn, try fixing it up. They charge well over $100 per night, and have revenue from the restaurant. Come on! Stay at a bed and breakfast elsewhere in the town, or stay someplace else.
