Wave Rider Resort

This used to be a hole in the wall hotel...like...the "trap spot". It appears that they have now switched to the units being individually owned. Our room on the third floor was beautiful however there was a police presence several of the days we were there due to domestic issues on the second floor. *There wasn't ever a time though that I didn't feel safe on the property. Maintenance on the other hand..... Or the property managers.... Are kind of worthless and are not very friendly. The breaker in the unit that we were in kept tripping and unfortunately there's no access to the panel in the actual unit so we had to keep calling the front desk to have them reset the fuse. One of the days the maintenance man huffed and puffed about it and stated "this is getting old" as if we, the guests,

This place is awful. It is filthy, it smells, and it is dark. It is a combination of rentals and residents that are kind of sketchy. They like to hang around outside their doors or smoke over the railings and try to talk to you. W estates in unit 301 through VRBO. I will stay in my van or in the street with the homeless people next time. ||Let’s take a tour! The entrance brings you to the filthy kitchen where other people’s meals are dripped down the cabinets and stove. Oh, hold on - don’t take off your shoes. Your feet will be black. The window unit is caked in dirt and grime, surprisingly it works. ||The living area. Dust and dirt on the surfaces, don’t try to sleep in the bed - there is sand in it. The location of the hotel was one block from the ocean front which was perfect. They also had a nice pool although it did close strictly at 9:00 p.m. every night. We were not satisfied with the housekeeping or the room itself. The beds felt like they were going to break although they were pretty comfortable a lot of the drawers were broken and the knob to the hotel room itself look like it was going to fall off. I would not book here again but for an overall experience it didn't ruin the trip at least

We loved staying here. It’s quiet,the people are so nice. The owner is very sweet. They have a bathroom,beds,couches,TVs,stove,microwave,and refrigerator with freezer. It was very clean. The hotel included a pool,lazy river, and baby pool. Not far from the beach. We drove 12hrs and it was so worth it. Good amount of parking spots. Our couch pulled out into a bed so that was a plus. I definitely will be back staying here. They have a washer and dryer room but you need quarters to pay for it. Elevator included. 3 floors

Don't let the them put you in the The Palace Resort room 601! It's infested with BEDBUGS and roaches! The carpet is filthy and this Is a run down dive. My wife got eatin alive by bedbugs. These people don't care they just take your money. They know your not from here and there is nothing you can do to them. They won't give you a refund this is the way they do business. They have screwed over so many people it's a way of life and they are numb!
