Marriott's OceanWatch Villas at Grande Dunes

My wife and I stayed at Marriott’s OceanWatch Villas at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, SC on 19-26 December 2025 and had a wonderful Christmas vacation. Upon checking in around 7PM on Friday 19 December 2025, the nice young lady at the front desk engaged her manager to arrange our requested upper floor oceanfront villa, and we were assigned a magnificent villa (3103) centered on the main building 10th floor. During our visit, we enjoyed spectacular sunrises from both beach and balcony, and the excellent seafood in the area. We also had several meals at the on-site Sand Dollar Grill and enjoyed it each time. A unique seasonal treat was the breathtaking “Nights of a Thousand Candles” holiday event at nearby Brookgreen Gardens. All in all, we had a great time and would return again to this loc

I cannot recommend their services enough 😍 I absolutely love, love, love it! The rooms are spotless, the ocean-side view is simply splendid, and the kids’ activities are engaging and fun. My baby enjoyed every moment of her one-week stay. It was truly a lovely experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Going in the off-season is a plus also. Thank you for making me enjoy my 2025 year end vacation🙏🏽.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We visited in November, which was a great shoulder season time to come, not too cold for walks along the beach (but probably too cold to go in the water) but not too hot either and no crowds. Fantastic location with easy access to the beach, we really liked our 2-bedroom villa with a partial ocean view. Beautiful sunrises seen from the beach. Spent a lot of time on the balcony as well. There was a decent amount of free activities, staff was friendly and helpful, the pools and whirlpools were all great. Highly recommend and we'll definitely return!

I truly loved this resort and my family did too. It was wonderful to wake up by the ocean every day. We had a pool and ocean view and it was so nice. We loved the pools and the spas. The activities on site were also super fun, we did the turkey trot, the scavenger hunt, and the build a buddy. The rooms were well appointed and some are currently under refurbishment. We would love to return once all of the room upgrades have been completed and stay here once again. The staff here was so welcoming and friendly. I did use the gym, and it was a bit small, I hope they expand it a bit as it did get quite crowded sometimes. We had no issues with noise or cleanliness at all. Fantastic resort - located super close to a bunch of restaurants and shops.
