Myrtle Beach Travel Park

Our first time traveling to Myrtle Beach and we really liked this RV park. At first, I thought, whoh, these spaces are tight! And they are. But we were only 4 spots in from walking right out onto the beach and we really liked that! We were in spot 138 and we had really nice people next to us. On one side, the people have been staying in that spot said they had been coming back for 30 years! The other side, they said they had been coming for like 10 years. We have 2 dogs and it's always important to us that we feel comfortable with our dogs and that part was great! Plenty of places to walk them and we could have our pet fences set up which IYKYK. We had stayed here several years ago but after while we decided to try a campground several miles south. The nickel and diming, the golf carts traffic, kids riding golf carts etc. It got old. We’ve been coming here off season now for 3 yrs. There have been no issues, the in house reservation folks are great, the on site staff is friendly and helpful. As for golf carts the only ones allowed are for permanent residents and the disabled. It’s the way it should be. The Thursday before Thanksgiving there was a feast, Best $17. I spent in a long time. The bathrooms and laundry mat are always clean and well maintained. Sunday church service is fantastic, chaplain Rick is a very good preacher. The sites are tight but what can you expect at the beach.

Stayed 4 nights in late October. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean bathhouses. Reasonable prices. Our site was a little narrow, but tolerable. Close to bathhouse. Onsite store is great with about anything you need or forgot. Staff towing campers to and from their storage area go way faster than the posted speed limit, so watch for them when walking. Lots of activities. Concrete slabs being added each year. Very quiet place without golf carts zooming everywhere. Will return.

My site is 100 yards from the ocean. Every thing is sand on this end of the camp grounds. Very nice bathrooms with heat and lots of hot water. Garbage pick up at noon every day. Full hook up with cable.

We usually make a trip down to this park to bring our granddaughters every year. They think that this MB and nothing else matters. They will spend every possible moment in the outdoor pool. This year we camped in site 43 which is probably nearest the pool. Facilities are clean and well maintained and the staff is very friendly. We had a problem with the power for our RV and the staff came and fixed it very quickly
