What a great place to stop overnight on our way to Colorado. We called late afternoon in our travel day and were advised they had a space available and would be waiting for us. ||Pulled in about 7:00pm after an 11 hr travel day and found a very well kept, quiet, and inviting RV park. Sites are very level and pull through (which was an added bonus). Close to the interstate but far enough away the noise wasn’t an issue. ||If you stop here do yourself a favor and eat at Rooster Mexican Restaurant & Cantina right across the street. Amazing authentic Mexican food with friendly service.
Customer service far exceeds expectations. Misty and Peggy were awesome to talk to and get recommendations for restaurants and local history. They have a quick full service laundry. The park was reasonably priced, clean, and quiet despite being right off of the freeway. Access to the freeway is super easy and convenient. We will definitely stay again.
Misty and Shelby were super nice. The park is in the middle of doing repairs,, to the bathrooms, so couldn’t use them. Which was not a problem to us. Shelby had cupcakes for us that were really good. I think once they get everything fixed, it could be a 4 or 5 star
Good location for a quick overnight stop with easy access from I-40. It's a scrubby unkempt campground. Do not turn on 14th Street to access your pull through. It was confusing because there were orange cones where you were supposed to enter. These details should have been included in the confirmation e mail. Owner was friendly and helpful. She normally provides evening desserts but her oven had broken that evening. She was profusely apologetic. The road to the campground was well maintained. The general area was run down but there was a great Mexican restaurant across the street that had good food and margaritas to dine in or to go. You could see and hear I-40 from the campground so if you are bothered by road noise, this is far from quiet. We feel it was overpriced for the type and condi
Good RV park right off Interstate 40, with level pads , easy pull thru sites, spacious , and highway noise was minimal. Very friendly staff, offered us homemade dessert and responded quickly to requests. Rooster’s Mexican restaurant across the street had good food, full menu and cold beer and margaritas. Only thing is the $64 overnight fee is too steep for this RV park.
