The staff was so attentive and welcoming from the moment we pulled up to valet. Every single staff member I encountered was a delight. The room was definitely dated and in need of some technology updates and well as decor updates but it was still pretty. The view from our 10th floor beach front balcony was spectacular. We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony and then went for massages in the spa. I slept very well - the bedding was comfy and being on the “strip” surprisingly wasn’t loud. The sunrise was absolutely gorgeous from the room. With some technology upgrades and updated decor / carpeting / drapes this place would have gotten 5 stars across the board from me. Had to give a 4 for the room only. Everything else, 5 stars!

Not sure how this has less than four and a half Stars. The hotel definitely has a a few rough edges but it is still Head and Shoulders nicer and more accommodating than a lot of places on the shore. The hotel staff is nice, the restaurant staff are fantastic, and the valet staff are some of the kindest and most professional I've come across. The stay will cost you but there's value at the price. What's upgraded to a resident room with a balcony, and the room was beautiful. A few scuffs and scratches on some of the fixtures but nothing to write home about. The view from the room was fantastic, the pool area was beautiful, and the beach at the hotel was responsible for was very well kept. The state of the week and slept very well despite all of the traffic from Spring Breakers. Would definit

We booked a one bedroom suite with a pullout couch for our kids. It was just for one night since we were departing on a Disney Cruise the next day, and thank goodness it was only one night. There was no pull out couch, and they said they could only bring in one twin rollout bed. The suite had a fantastic view, but it was run down inside with a lot of wasted space. The pool deck was nice, but it was extremely crowded and there was no place to sit. They have couches available for $250 per day, but since that's very expensive for what you get, nobody rents them. The result is half the space is empty because the hotel wants to get more of your money. The pool itself is okay but oddly designed with an unused staircase going through the middle of it. We paid $950 for one night, and it was proba

Positive: Perfect view from my balcony and the proximity to the beach across the street. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Negative: Seems a little outdated for it to be rated 4.5 stars. The bathroom could use some hooks for towels and such. Carpet seemed a little older.

I came to W Fort Lauderdale for a girls’ trip and it exceeded every expectation. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located right on the beach. The rooms were clean, stylish, and had stunning ocean views. The vibe throughout the property is fun but still upscale, which made it perfect for a relaxing yet lively getaway. That said, I do wish the hotel had communicated in advance that the WET West Deck pool was closed for repairs. We only found out after booking, and that was a little disappointing since the pool scene is definitely part of the W experience. Better transparency before arrival would have been appreciated. On the beach, Franco and Sam were absolute standouts. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure my friend and I were taken care of. They helped
