Voyager RV Resort

The Voyager is not what it used to be. Our most recent visit we have noticed a lack of security. It’s claimed to be a gated community but lots of vehicles and people in here that shouldn’t be. No gate passes required any longer. Walk gates in the outside wall are broken and not lockable. Fat Willys the onsite bar and grill is lacking in quality and quantity of food. Lots of complaints of the bar & grill from friends and neighbors. The roads are in disrepair. It’s obvious that no proactive upkeep has been accompanied lately. Kids from nearby neighborhood are allowed to roam freely. Still lots of activities that keep the resort going.

Really enjoyed this rv resort. Big, clean, they escort you to your site (we had a great pull-thru site) and each site even has your own trash & recycling bins, which was a nice change. There are many on-site amenities including a restaurant (which we used twice during our stay) and this seems like an active, busy, fun environment. We'll stay again and definitely for a longer period so we can make use of the resort amenities.

Good location. Typical Encore/TT resort. Staff really friendly. We just used to park RV and recharge as we typically do before boondocking again. Large resort and spaces are kind of tight. Backins decent...pull thru section has a very strange parking arrangement we have not seen anywhere...and we're 10 yr full time RVers.

What a beautiful rv resort. Very well maintained, very very clean. The lots are a good size and there is a concrete slab. 3 swimming pools, 2 spas, a very modern gym, convenience store, restaurant, hotel, hairdresser, small medical clinic, several activity rooms, many pickelball fields, tennis court, golf, post office and much more. Waste and recycling is picked up directly at your site. The staff and residents are very kind and welcoming. The only thing I could suggest is to put more deck chairs at the pools. For the rest everything is excellent. I love it.

We stay in our RV, so no rooms. Service is ok, front desk folks can be a bit snippy at times, slow to return calls. Rv pads are level, gravel with patio, close together. Full electric, water, drainage. Amenities are great, 3 pools, 2 hot tubs, fitness room. Showers are clean with shower chairs, disability shower accommodates wheelchair, attendant and more. If you stay for longer periods, there is a silver shop where you can take lessons and work with metals, etc. fully equipped wood shop, lapidary shop, stained glass and many other activities. Pricey but reasonable for what’s available. Very large area for RVs, motel facilities, etc. we’ve spent several winters here, lots to do in and around Tucson.
