Clean, comfortable, and excellent service! The service was better than the five star hotel we stayed at the night before - very personal, caring, and genuine. I know other reviews complained about noise - bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper because there is a subway station next door and walls are not very thick - but they gave me a free upgrade to a quiet top floor room and I slept very soundly. This is a comfortable and clean hotel with exceptional service close to LaGuardia.

Positive: Friendly staff, convenient location, modernized room, very clean. Negative: The only problem is with parking. I was told it is ok to park at the curb in front of the hotel and yet I got a ticket the next day for $65!!

Henry, Shoba, Nicole ,, Alex and the team are amazing. This hotel is super clean! The staff are amazing. The quality of their linen and towels, the soap is plant based, all noteworthy excellence. Literally easy to get to whether you drive or take public transportation So another deal breaker is their proximity to every type of retail/consumer/home need/airport shuffle need you could possibly think of. The bank, cellphone store, the food choices, the 24 hr grocery store, the Laundromat, hair supply, smoke shop, etc.. like it's literally a one stop shop experience. My parents stayed at voco Astoria during the holidays, and I was truly impressed with how wonderful their experience was. The hotel is very convenient, especially when family comes to visit and travel during the holidays. They had only great things to say about their stay. I want to especially mention Shobha at the front desk my parents said she was incredibly loving, helpful, and made their stay even more delightful. Yesterday, I also got a chance to meet her in person, and she was absolutely amazing. The hotel also has great amenities like a gym and a water dispenser, which made the stay even more comfortable and convenient. Overall, voco Astoria is a fantastic place to stay, and I highly recommend it. We will definitely choose this hotel again for future visits!

The location is ideal for a city break, tucked away from the crowds of Manhattan, yet only a stone’s throw from the nearest subway station with frequent direct trains. Also well located for getting to and from JFK. The front-of-house staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The room itself exceeded expectations - the bed probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, and the shower was amazing. Everything felt new, modern, and well thought-out, including plenty of charging points with USB-C ports, a plus for international travellers like me.
