This is an amazing place for retreats, especially religious ones like I went to. Met so many good people. N very inspired by Bishop Budde.

Went to Shrine Mont for a yoga retreat. The atmosphere is really something to experience. The area is beautiful and peaceful.

Like being back at Girl Scout camp. No TV, no AC. Dining hall meals were great; even the coffee was good. Might have let me know to bring own wash cloth, tissue, cooler full of ice for room tho.

Shrine Mont is a unique place to stay -- not a typical hotel or resort, but a true rustic getaway. And it's perfect for travel during the pandemic. We had to visit family this summer which required a cross-country drive. We felt very safe staying at Shrine Mont. Both the hotel and the cabins have minimal shared airspace with other guests -- and since most of the rooms aren't air-conditioned, the outside breeze coming in at night was perfect. We got our honestlye meals to go and ate outside on a covered porch. The swimming pool was perfect, and this fall the hiking will be A+. This is the kind of place where traffic is minimal and you can let your kiddos roam. Your view of the stars will be impeccable.

Spent the weekend on retreat with my church family. We hiked, prayed, sang and relaxed. I felt like we were a real family away from our church. We had meals together which were really good. Sat on the veranda at night and just talked about future plans, celebrated an anniversary and just relaxed. We hiked up to the cross and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Sunday morning at the Chapel was beautiful. Hope to go again and make it to the North Mountain this time.
