Pines

Older lodgings but the room was surprising. It was nicely furnished and everything worked. The condo's entrance and stairways were being remodeled but they should have been maintained better between the remodeling tasks - screens were infested with spiders and their webs, bugs, both dead and alive, were on the floors and steps and construction debris such plaster fragments and screws and nails were littered throughout. The resort and golf course were set in a pretty valley with good restaurants and a brewery nearby. Everyone we spoke with was friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a quiet and restful trip.

This cabin in the woods was fine. Three levels and 36 steps down to the door. Self check in. I don't recall any info about the steps involved. I had asked if there was room to park my daughter's truck and camper. They assured me many places to park it. Not close to cabin however. We are in our late 70's

The Pines is a series of 12 villas, so this review is ONLY about villa 150b. It was huge !!|But there were issues. 1) We got an e-mail before our trip started with the access code in it for the main door and apparently a note about bringing our own toilet paper. In 30+ years of timeshare exchanges we have never seen such a note. There was one spare roll in each of the two bathroom. If there was a party of 6 or 8 in the unit I'm sure they would run out in a day or so. 2) There were numerous places throughout the unit where the paint had been nicked off of the baseboard, Did I mention that this place was essentially a 2 story detached house, huge!! 3) The chairs around the dinette were exceedingly hard to slide on the rug, and in addition there was a bar between the front two legs of

We found the unit satifactory for our week stay. The living area had a smoky smell from the fireplace. The carpet could be changed to LVF for a cleaner appearance. The kitchen items and linens were all good. The two onsite restaurants are at best fair. Several local restaurants in Mt Jackson were decent. They have a Wednesday morning Farmers Market that was very good for produce. as we cooked in often.

Be prepared for outdated units and minimal amenities. The office is off property and after hours instructions and directions are confusing. The pictures on the website are not of the unit we stayed in and we were told we were booked in the “Basic Unit”.
