Chalet High Activity Center

My family and I spent 3 nights at the Chalet High Resort in early November. We booked a 3 bedroom multi-level dwelling for a very reasonable rate. The staff was pleasant, exceedingly friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. The grounds were well maintained and the resort atmosphere was very peaceful. Although the unit was very spacious, it unfortunately was outdated and the carpet was filthy. The rugs had an ick factor but not an unpleasant odor. Even though the front door sweep was ill-fitting, the unit did not have any bugs entering through the gap. We were very happy that the rooms were bug free. Despite some of the negatives issues we encountered, we would stay there again and hope that the next unit we are assigned to has cleaner carpeting.

i only had one issue with my stay, the resort was rather dark, i went to bead while there, and lighting was less than needed. when i had maintenance man in for minor issue, he even had hard time seeing the buttons on the remote in the daytime. this was at ten am. other than that i would say it is lovely place to stay, just my issue.

Very disappointing. Timeshare is very dated, the management company is awful and not transparent, maintenance fees are paid and you still have furniture from 1984, things that were promised for the Resort, did not happen or were bandaid with refurbished appliances and furniture, took over 20 years to get mattresses and have gone through 3 management companies.

Booking the condo I knew it would be dated due to the last timeshare we rented in FL. The one we stayed in had been "fixed" up with new drywall, carpet, floors, but the furniture it's straight out of the early 90's, and VERY uncomfortable. We booked for a week but after 5 days we left because we needed a good night sleep on our own beds. Bring your onw pillows and blankets! The size of the condo was amazing though! We had 8-10 of us there and it fit us all just fine. The activity center was well kept, kids loved the pool, and the hot tub was nice. The staff was nothing but amazing and the location is absolutely beautiful. Overall it was a very nice enjoyable stay.
