Virgin River Casino and Lodge

Bottom line basic. No frills, nothing fancy. The location looks like an old school Vegas motel with lots of Neon glitz and flashing lights. That's as far as the frills go. There is vast amounts of parking including a huge truck lot across the street. The walk would be maybe 5 minutes to the rooms. There are multiple Three story buildings with rooms facing an open, exterior hallway with concrete floors and all the pedestrian noise that goes with it. This is a very basic design that many other Two star motels have moved away from. Many have carpeted, interior hallways and can brand themselves as a hotel. The room was clean and the aircon worked. The bed was comfortable. Aside from that, I would have given Two stars if the room had a fridge and microwave, like every other Two star mote

BUSINESS CATERING - FIVE STARS. I put on a client appreciation dinner in their events center (the tent) and was concerned what the food would taste like.......never had good luck with any restaurant at the Virgin River. But the catering staff.......... they knocked it out of the park for my clients! Highly recommend the Italian buffet! The fish was cooked to perfection (which is difficult), the manicotti and all the side dishes were excellent. Since I have been sugar-free for 39 days (yes, I'm counting!) I didn't try any of the desserts, but they looked absolutely divine. \ The table decorations were tasteful, the service staff were great, the whole event made for a welcome experience for my clients. Positive: That it is dog friendly and had a really nice dog park. Negative: The walls are way too thin. The unit above had guests that were super loud , late at night, all 4 nights we stayed. The ceiling actually boomed as they trudged back and forth. I couldn’t sleep. Loud TV was also annoying.

My wife and I stayed here for one night on our way to California recently. We have stayed here before so we knew that the hotel/rooms are pretty out dated. We paid extra for one of the new updated rooms. It was definitely worth the extra money. The bed was so much better than older rooms we’ve stayed in! It is a budget friendly hotel. The other hotels in the area were a lot more expensive than the Virgin River. The hotel restaurant has good food and we really liked the bowling alley. The hotel has plenty of parking and has great access to I-15. To check-in to the hotel you need to access the check-in desk from inside the casino. It an be very smokey inside from the people gambling. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, swimming pools and a place for your dogs where than can roam and play. Even thoug

Normally I stay to myself, but after this incident I can't. I am at this establishment often and have always loved it. Today, as like any other day, some customers had their dogs with them. I am fine with that, you'll see all breeds come in. Then today, a gentleman with a pit bull was made to take his dog out of the building. Why? They claimed it was a potential trip hazard for people walking. First, I understand that logic BUT the poodle was also laying the isle. This dog was SLEEPING, no threat to anyone at all. Very friendly as I asked permission to pet him and he was the sweetest dog. This is simply, shameful. Following this event, a new gentleman came into the building with only a bath robe on, THAT is more offensive than a DOG.
