Village Place at Eastern Slope Inn Resort

The staff was extremely helpful, and she gave us a lot of recommendations for hiking trails and restaurants. The rooms were quite nice and spacious for the price. However, we did spot a roach in the room which we had to take care of. Also, the booking website did not indicate that the check in location was at a different location, which was quite an inconvenience as we had to walk quite a far distance with our heavy baggage. So do take note of this before booking.

We traded our multi-level unit for a two room cottage. The main reason was pet friendly accommodation. It was a perfect fit for our needs. Still close to everything and plenty of pet friendly outdoor dining.

The room is very basic. No place to put a suitcase unless it's on the floor or on a bed. The whole place had two other guests besides us, but they put both those guests right next to us. One was next to us and one was above us. The one above us was tromping around at 2:30 in the morning. The nights were cool enough to open windows, but the window levers on both windows facing the parking lot were broken. We had to have the AC on all night instead. The bathroom sink drain stopper doesn't work and the sink drains very slowly. We didn't realize that we wouldn't have enough coffee to cover our two night stay. Talk about stingy! I've never paid so much to get so little.

If you are prepared to check in at a different location, it's a fine place to stay. The room was clean and spacious. When booking online, you are unaware of the alternative location to check in and it is inconvenient if you are tired and just want to chill.

Good motel, far enough from the hustle and bustle of the main drag, but close enough to walk everywhere. I would definitely use this motel on my next trip back to the Whites. Room was clean and stocked with typical bathroom amenities. Had small fridge and microwave. Chairs on the front walk to relax, which was super nice after the kids went to bed.
