1785 Inn

We stayed at the 1785 Inn in North Conway NH in August of 2025. We booked the entire inn for our family reunion. ||The Inn is quite large and had enough bedrooms for even our large group, which is hard to find. Many but not all of the rooms had private bathrooms. The listing claimed that all the bedrooms on the top floor (rooms 11, 12, 13, 14) had queen beds or a combination of queen and twin beds. The four rooms on that floor all had double sized beds only.||We had serious issues with the plumbing. The water in many of the showers would not stay an even temperature, and would go between ice cold and scalding hot regardless of the temperature adjustment on the faucets. This was especially the case in room 11 on the top floor and rooms 9 and 10 on the second floor.|More concerning wa

Airbnb type rental. We bring a group of 40 place. Great place for us to meet for a reunion. Good kitchen so we don't have to eat out every meal. Fire place with a beautiful view of mount washington, pool, nice bar room, nice dining room and several sitting rooms. Highly recommend for a reunion or family hey together.

This place is one of a kind! We had our wedding here and had a long weekend with friends and family and it was unforgettable. The views were AMAZING! The sunsets over the mountains were breathtaking. Both of our parties stayed with us and we got to enjoy multiple nights of hanging by the fire, hot tub, and private bar. There were plenty of games to play for entertainment. The industrial kitchen made it so easy to prep food. There was so much room in this inn for people to mingle and relax. It was truly amazing and I plan to come back in the future!

11 out of 10. The 1785 Inn was absolutely Magical! Working with the hosts was so easy and having Hope as a local presence was a phenomenal addition when any issue came up. We had 31 people (9 of them small children) for a small/intimate wedding in front of the mountains. We lucked out big time with weather so could enjoy the outdoor games, hot tub, and even the pool late into the season. Everything about the Inn is as you would expect, access to everything on property (including the bar and industrial kitchen), beautiful views as you sit by the fire, and ultimate privacy for an intimate occasion. The only info I would prepare others: set your expectations appropriately - this is a non-staffed Inn, so be prepared for a little extra work at checkout but the the extra sweat equity is wo

Well the service part is a bit tricky since tou have to supply your own but its super cheap to rent and its located where there's a gorgeous view! My nephew had his wedding here and it was a great time and it didn't break the bank
