Village Inn Motel Rockport near Aransas Bay

Extremely clean and comfortable place! Probably the best motel experience I have had with such short notice. Bed was a firm one, which I like, but it is a tad firmer than what some describe as firm (my wife prefers a softer, hybrid style - this one didn't have any pillow top or memory foam topper). The shower had good pressure and got very hot. The room had amenities like a built-in hair dryer, small coffee maker, microwave & mini-fridge, along with a 2 chair dinette. The balcony on the front of the 2nd floor has a line of sight view to the saltwater bay and a pleasant breeze. The owner/operators are very cordial. Great place.👍

Great Spot. Nice Pool. Very Clean. Responsive staff. Awesome price. Simple, no nonsense. I didn't care for the tv remote, and there was no ice maker. It did have a fridge with an ice tray or two, so you may want to make some ice as soon as you get there, or grab some ice on the way there. Had a good stay!

Simple, clean and close to the beach. Reasonable price. The family who operates it is very welcoming and friendly. Mini fridge in room and HEB five minutes away. Perfect for vacation on a budget! Get to the beach early or late (after 6:00 pm) and snag a free parking spot just outside of the pay gates. Walk down by the bathrooms/showers and claim a nice patch of sand. Recommend going during shoulder season, especially after Labor Day.

Both my cousin and I stayed here, separate rooms. We both experienced a very high level of good attention as we both had our own mini issues they went over board to help us with. the hotel itself is very peaceful in general, it is on a street but noise quiets down by 9pm. It is the best choice I feel for an easy in easy out time to visit the cute town of Rockport.

We enjoyed our stay here at the Village Inn. The owner was friendly and attentive when we forgot our room key. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and don't forget the soft pillows. This motel is close to the beach, food areas, and local thrift stores. We will definitely come again. Also, good fishing spots close by.
