Vernal / Dinosaurland KOA Holiday

This KOA was a nice surprise. The sites were positioned where there was enough space between them that we were very comfortable. Grass area between spaces with pads for a table and chairs. The grounds people were very helpful. The grounds could use some attention but were still quite nice. The pool had a good temperature and was not too crowded. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Very clean and very well kept areas everyone there is friendly and nice very helpful. We stayed in our 5th wheel and it was perfect. Seen they had cabins will have to try those next time.

We were here as part of a cross country family fun trip from western NY to Vernal Utah. We wanted to learn about the Oregon trail and experience some hiking in and around the Dinosaur National monument near Vernal. We found the campgrounds to be better than what I had expected. It was clean, well kept, and fun. The pool wasn’t crystal clear but it was well cared for and the kids were happy to jump in and cool off in between long family hiking adventures. We enjoyed the complementary jumping pillow, mini golf and playground as well. ||The staff was incomparably friendly and helpful. They were all hard working, and truly cared about the campground as well as taking pride in the quality of their work. Kudos to the housekeeping crew on site especially miss “ Rebel” as nicked name by her fathe

Nice location with nearby local eateries and services. Our pull-through RV slot was fairly level and everything was clean and functional. Many of the slots have gas grills available. Very nice, friendly staff. Only complaint is that wifi stopped working one day in. Still, we enjoyed our stay greatly!

We recently spent a week at this campground and wanted to share our honest experience. Overall, it has some great features, but also a few drawbacks worth noting if you’re planning a stay. Pros Well-shaded tent sites Nicely maintained outdoor areas Fun amenities for all ages Friendly staff Cons The road noise is constant, day and night — one of the biggest downsides to this location Facilities were not very clean; during our week-long stay, they were cleaned only once Some tent-site fire pits are quite run down and could use maintenance
