Studio 6 Vernal UT

The only downside to this place was the air conditioner was a bit noisy and the lights in the parking lot are bright enough that you have no choice but to have the blinds shut at night. (On the other hand, from a security standpoint, the parking lot lights are a plus.) On the upside the bed was incredibly comfortable - I think I was asleep in 30 seconds; the room was spacious and there was a large counter in the bathroom, and a small table with 2 chairs you could pull up - so plenty of space to spread out. There was a full sized refrigerator, a microwave, sink and 2 burner stove. Except for the fridge, I did not use these amenities, but especially if you were staying a couple days, they could be very handy. I interacted with 2 staffers, and they were both pleasant and friendly.

Oh my gosh.... Hands down the friendliest people in town. The man who checked me in was a very helpful. Rooms were very clean, kitchen in the room was clean, sheets fresh, pillows fluffy and the air conditioning worked great. Has a pool and hot tub. The breakfast isn't real diverse, but with cold cereal, hot cereal, bagels, muffins, waffles, juice, milk, coffee, it's sufficient. But the best part is the price. Extremely affordable! That was my favorite part! I'd recommend it to anyone and I'll be staying there whenever I'm in Vernal!

Great room for a good rate. Beds are a little stiff, but I actually enjoy a firm bed. Layout of the room was a bit weird. If you were in the bed closest to the wall, the angle to view the TV was a bit strange. Hot tub was awesome, and pool wasn't too cold, but felt nice being that it was 86 degrees outside. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Waffles tasted funny, there was only 2 types of cereal (lucky charms and looked like corn flakes), but there was no milk at the time I was down (about 8am). Next time I will just bring something to make in the room being that it has a full kitchen. I've already suggested the hotel to the race track drivers I am with when I go down there, and I will definitely be staying again.

The owners are very friendly. They offer free breakfast, which is unusual for Motel 6 / Studio 6. The rooms are clean and quiet. They have a small indoor pool. It is the same price as the Motel 6 up the road, with the added bonus of a kitchenette and larger rooms. Google gave us 3 routes from Salt Lake to Denver, we wanted to stay overnight halfway, and this was the best price along all 3 routes.

I booked a room on the Motel 6 website thinking this was a Motel 6 property because pets stay free and I was traveling with my dog. When I arrived they charged me a $10 pet fee and said they were Studio 6 and not Motel 6. I was a bit irritated but once I got to my room I was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty nice. It had a complete kitchen with refrigerator, cook top, sink and microwave. It was much nicer than most Motel 6 properties I have stayed at in the past. Even with the pet charge it was still only $55 so pretty good value for the price.
